How to reach our B&B...
How can we reach you by car?
Our B&B is outside the antique walls of Urbino. You don’t need to enter into the limited traffic area. We are in the area called “La Croce” , near the shopping center “Il Consorzio” and the ENI petrol station.
How can we reach your B&B on foot from the historic center?
From Piazza della Repubblica or Piazza Rinascimento we are in the southern part of the town, 800 meters away and about 8 minutes’ walk (downhill). Take Porta S. Bartolo or Porta Lavagine, go down towards Pesaro, towards the shopping centre “Il Consorzio” . In front of the shopping center there are two roundabouts, one of which, gives access to a car park that you can walk alongside or cross to arrive near an Eni service station. Go on the downhill road, we are immediately after the petrol station on your right!
How can we reach you by bus from Pesaro?
There are two bus that connect Pesaro to Urbino (Rapid Green Line and Green Line) We recommend taking the ride called “Green Line”, because it is the only one that offers the possibility of stopping in front of our B&B. You can ask the bus driver to stop you in front of the ENI petrol station, in the area “La Croce” , near the shopping center “Il Consorzio”. (Further information: https://www.adriabus.eu/orari/ )
NOTE: If you choose the “Rapid Green Line” trip, it will not be possible to stop in front of our facility and you will necessarily arrive at the two terminus of Urbino, which are in the eastern and northern part of the town, while we are located in the southern part. So getting to our facility is more complicated!

If we book directly with you, can you give us a better rate?
On all the pages of our website, you will find a bar, at the bottom, where you can enter dates and check availability. The rates shown are the same ones that we propose by phone. On our website or by phone we always offer the “BEST RATE GUARANTEED”!
NOTE: We cannot know if there are particular advantages reserved for you on the booking portals, so if you can, take advantage of special discounts. What we usually recommend, is that if you see a rate for the same room on the booking portal that is more advantageous than the one shown on our site, to proceed with the booking which is to your advantage! However, keep in mind that, for example, the conditions relating to booking guarantees or the possibility of being able to cancel less in advance may change!
The cancellation policy when you book with us directly?
– up to 7 days before your arrival, full refund of the advance received (excluding any cost for making the bank transfer) or no charge on the credit card;
– from the 6th day to the arrival date, 50% of the overall total will be retained. However, it will be possible up to 3 days before your arrival to move the date of your stay to new dates based on the availability of the facility or alternatively a voucher will be issued in relation to the advance payment received, to be used for a future stay on a date to be determined.
– in case of early departure the entire stay will be charged.
Usually, to guarantee the reservation, we require credit card details (including the CVV code on the back of the card), or a 50% bank transfer relating to the total price of the room (excluding tourist taxes to be paid on site).
Are pets allowed in the B&B?
We don’t accept animals because we have parquet floors.
Check-in and Check-out...
When is the check in?
We usually offer Self Check-in (however, for any need, we live in the B&B) by sending a specific code and the informations necessary to enter in the B&B and in the bedroom from 3.00pm to 7.00pm, but you can ask for a different time of arrival.
Is it possible to check in early?
We offer the possibility of early check-in, subject to prior arrangements. However, we recommend arriving after 10.30am in the morning to ensure that guests have left the room. While the room will be ready starting from 3:00 pm.
Is it possible to check in in the evening or at night?
We offer the possibility of Self Check-in even after 7.00 pm. We usually send simple informations to enter the facility independently.
When is check out?
Check-Out is from 7.30 to 10.00. However, we offer the possibility of early check-out (before 7.30 am), subject to prior arrangements. However, in this case we require payment of the stay during the check-in phase. We will then define the agreements, such as breakfast, where to leave the keys, etc.
Is early check out possible?
We offer the possibility of checking out early (before 7.30 am), subject to prior arrangements (usually check-out in our facility is from 7.30 am to 10.00 am). However, in this case we require payment of the stay during the check-in phase. Then we will define the agreements, such as breakfast, etc.
Is it possible to postpone check out?
It is possible to request a late check-out (after 10:00). However we will charge €5.00/hour.
Parking...
Do you have car parking?
Our facility is in the semi-central area (180 meters from the San Bartolo antique door) just a 3-minute walk from the limited traffic area. Therefore it is possible to arrive and easily park in front of our B&B or in an adjacent area. Our street-side parking is FREE and has video surveillance cameras (these areas are monitored 24 hours a day), but IT IS NOT BOOKABLE. Furthermore, it is also possible to park along the street, on the left, under the pines (just don’t go beyond the recycling bins).
Do you have parking for motorbikes or bicycles?
MOTORCYCLES and BICYCLES can park inside our garden, which has video surveillance cameras (these areas are monitored 24 hours a day), and in the evening it is usually closed from 10pm.
Do you have safe parking for bicycles?
BICYCLES can be parked inside our garden, which has video surveillance cameras (these areas are monitored 24 hours a day), and in the evening it is usually closed from 10pm. Alternatively, you can also park your bicycles along our porch which is not visible from the main road because it is on the back of the B&B, however there are 15 steps to climb. It is NOT possible to bring the bicycle into the room!
Breakfast...
Is breakfast included in the room price?
Yes, breakfast is always included in the room rate! and consist of both sweet and savory products entirely homemade and using local products.
Is there the possibility of requesting a breakfast for celiacs?
We will take care of setting up the table with assorted and specific products, carefully dedicated to the celiac guest.
Is there a possibility to request a vegetarian or vegan breakfast?
We will be happy to prepare breakfasts for you in full respect of nature and the vegan philosophy, using organic products of solely plant origin, all prepared at home: biscuits, brioches, tarts, cakes, fresh fruit and vegetable extracts, all enriched with an assorted variety of whole grains, seeds and dried fruit, yogurt and soy milk.

Is it possible to have breakfast earlier?
Breakfast time is from 8:00 to 9:30. However, for specific or work needs it is possible to request breakfast starting from 7.30am.

How far are you from the historic center?
Our B&B is outside the restricted traffic zone but still close to the city walls, just 180 meters from the San Bartolo access gate and to get there it takes about 5 minutes of walking, while to get to the main squares of the city and the various restaurants, it takes about 10/12 minutes on foot (it is 800 meters, and the timing takes into account the climbs).
How far are you from the University of Urbino?
It is difficult to answer this question, because the University of Urbino is the city itself! In fact, all the faculties are located both within the historic center and in the surrounding areas. However, we can answer that our B&B remains close to the walls of Urbino, 800 meters from the main headquarters of the University and the Aula Magna. About a 10 minute walk (uphill).
Are there public transport stops in the area to reach the historic centre?
Please note that our B&B is outside the restricted traffic zone but still close to the walls. We are just 180 meters from the access gate of “San Bartolo” and to get there it takes about 5 minutes of walking, while to get to the main squares of the city it takes about 10 minutes on foot (it’s 800 meters, and the timing takes into account the climbs!). However, there is a stop in front of our B&B which takes you to the central bus station, from here you can decide whether to take the lift and get to the access door of “Santa Lucia” which has a flat route, or it would be a matter of taking another bus to get to the centre.
Bedrooms ...
Is it possible to add a bed or a cot?
For some room it is possible to add a single bed (sheets, towels and breakfast are included). Children of all ages are welcome, and upon request it is possible to add a cot/crib for children up to 2 years old at no additional cost.
Is it possible to have single beds in the rooms?
Our double beds are not made up of two single beds, therefore there is no possibility of separating the beds. However, if expressly requested, we have a single quadruple room, consisting of two double beds, or in some rooms there is a single sofa bed which can be arranged at an additional price.
Is it possible to add a single bed?
In some of our rooms it is possible to arrange a third additional bed and therefore accommodate a new guest, which, including breakfast, costs €25.00.
Do you have rooms with kitchens?
Just one room has a fully equipped designer kitchen… Large Double Room with Cuisine. The name of the room is “Eclettica”
Do the rooms all have a private bathroom?
Yes!… all the rooms in our B&B have a new private bathroom inside.
What is the difference between a double bed and a French double bed?
In some of our rooms there is a French double bed. The term French bed is intended to indicate a type of double bed characterized by dimensions that are slightly smaller when compared to traditional models. Specifically, our French double beds have a size of 140 x 190 cm, compared to a traditional model which has a size of 160 x 190 cm.
Are there toiletries?
Our facility offers 100% natural bathroom products: body wash, hand soap, intimate hygiene.
Is there air conditioning in the room?
In all rooms there is air conditioning which works to cool or possibly heat the environment.
How are the rooms heated?
All our rooms have independently controlled radiators and heat pump air conditioners.
Is it possible to smoke in the rooms?
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms L. N 584 11/11/1975, while smoking is permitted in the common areas outside, if it does not disturb the other guests of the B&B. We do not have smoking rooms!
